The Celtic Heritage Society was established in 1991 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization. We host weekly Irish Music Sessions, quarterly member meetings with a presentation of music or history. Our main event is CelticFest Mississippi held annually on the 2nd weekend in October at Bobby Cleveland Park at Lakeshore in Central Mississippi. 

All board members are volunteers and receive no compensation.

CelticFest Mississippi 2025 is the host location for the Scottish Masters Athletics International World Championship Games. The SMAI is the organizing body for the World Championships. The annual event with over 200 athletes is held at different locations each year and rotates between the United States, Canada and Europe.

In addition to Scottish Highland Games, our two day festival also showcases Traditional Irish & Scottish Music & Dance on multiple stages, offers free workshops & demonstrations, hosts the Kindred Spirits Scotch & Whiskey Tasting plus Mead Tastings as well as an Afternoon Tea Experience. We of course have traditional Food Vendors and Celtic Merchants plus more and all with an incredible water view!
