Come as you are, Kilt or casual! All are welcome at this fun and energetic kick-off for CelticFest and our Highland Games! Our Merchants & Food Trucks will be open and the beer will be flowing! The Calling of the Clans ceremony is one you won’t want to miss as the sun sets on the Reservoir!
If your clan is not represented by a Convener Tent in Clan Row YOU are welcome to register to represent them without setting up a booth for FREE. Come to the Festival Merchandise booth before 6pm on Friday evening and we’ll get you sorted!
Long ago, “Calling of the Clans” was to call the Clans to battle. Clans announce their presence with a shout of their motto or battle cry. Today the call is not for battle, but for unity as we celebrate our common Scottish heritage and prepare for an exciting weekend!
