Emerald Accent Irish Music was founded in the spring of 2010. With backgrounds in Irish, Bluegrass, Blues and Classical, the band brings freshness to the genre while priding itself in the Irish traditional style. The band loves working as a ceili band while also producing slow soothing slow jigs and waltzes. We have played for dances, concerts, pubs, and receptions. Emerald Accent is a well-rounded band for those who enjoy Irish music.
Founding Members Clark Lowery (guitar, bouzouki, vocals) & Tom McCandlish (vocals, bodhrán) are joined by the beautiful wall of sound that is Lexie Frenette (fiddle, vocals), Allison Talley (flute, whistle, vocals) and Temperance Babcock (fiddle, vocals).
