MacNamarra's Hurrah

MacNamarra's Hurrah is a group of friends/musicians who’ve played together/separately for many years – in 2013 they pooled talents as "MacNamarra's Hurrah,” named after Joe Waller's song about an Irish emigrant. Joe Waller, singer-songwriter, and wife Katie produce two music festivals per year in Barberville, FL His strong vocals take the listener from the heart of a Celtic ballad to the fun of a tune about a pony! Katie Waller, fiddler, was classically trained on the viola/violin, but is now a full time fiddler and workshop teacher! Jenn Weidley is a singer/songwriter and accomplished guitarist, fiddler and Irish whistle player who’s written and arranged over 250 Celtic inspired original/traditional songs. Chuck Spano, percussionist, has played with musicians from around the world and taught various percussion workshops at the Florida Folk Festival (and others) for the past many years and is the musical director for the Ormond Beach Celtic Festival.
