Jim Flanagan has played major Irish festivals from Butte, Montana to Lake Charles, Louisiana, and from Denver, Colorado to the Potomac in Virginia. He has garnered a national reputation among audiences and fellow performers both for his broad knowledge of the Irish tradition and the tastefulness of his performances. This is reflected in the uniformly positive reviews of his 4 solo CD's. Another side, more raucous and boisterous, can be seen in his pub performances. Jim has been a regular part of CelticFest almost since its inception. He returns this year with new songs and old favorites guaranteed to delight his many fans.
